Sustainable textiles are much more important than you think. There are many companies with questions about sustainability. Questions like: What does 'sustainable textiles' mean? What do we want to achieve as businesses and what will our sustainable products look like?

Produced by Print Unlimited

The room-divider, 'Dotscreen', from Print Unlimited is a design by Driessen + van Deijne. New designs are inspired by the waste produced by the digital printing process the printed on biological cotton. The supports of this room-divider can also be used to provide a second destination for your own textile, such as a printed T-shirt. In this way, the user can construct their own room-divider from textiles that would normally be recycled. The room-divider can be used in any space to divide it or to screen off an unattractive element. It also has sound proofing properties and saves material. The challenge is to increase the degradability of the inks so that the entire product can be composted and enter the natural cycle.
